　日本の募金振り込み先である特定非営利活動法人「国連友好協会」に集まったお金のうち、8月24日までに振り込まれた分はすでにブータン王国の指定口座に振り込まれたそうです。

　また、9月10日には、「国連友好協会」代表でブータン王国名誉総領事の徳田ひとみ様が、直接ブータンを訪問され、ブータン政府に正式に目録と皆様からのご寄付と共に寄せられたメッセージ等をお渡ししてこられたそうです。

　ブータンの関係者の方々は大変喜ばれ、また、首相からこのような感謝状もいただいたそうです。

Ms. Hitomi Tokuda, Honorary Consul General of Bhutan in Tokyo, Japan called on Dasho Yeshey Dorji, Foreign Secretary to convey the sympathy of the Japanese people for the loss of Wangduephodrang Dzong to fire. She also handed over a list of names of people who have made donations for the reconstruction of the Dzong amounting to US$134,590.13, which has already been directly remitted to the Wangdue Phodrang Reconstruction Fund Account maintained by the Ministry of Finance.
ヒトミ・トクダさん、Dasho Yeshey Dorji（火事にWangduephodrang Dzongの損失のために日本人の同情を伝達する外務大臣）を、日本国東京のブータンのHonorary Consul Generalは、訪れました。彼女も、134,590.13米ドル（財務省によって維持されるWangdue Phodrang Reconstruction Fund Accountに、すでに直接送られました）に達しているDzongの再建のために、寄付をした人々の名前のリストを手渡しました。

The donations were mobilized by Ms. Tokuda from 1090 Japanese people including officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Honorary Consul of Bhutan in Osaka, Representative Director, Toyo System Co., Ltd of Fukushima, Representative Director, Aquas Corporation, The Japan-Kingdom of Bhutan Parliamentary Friendship League and from the Office of the Honorary Consulate-General of Bhutan in Tokyo. It also includes donations from Sakuragaoka Elementary School, which Their Majesties visited on the occasion of their State Visit in November 2011.
寄付は、外務省、大阪のブータンの名誉領事、代表取締役、福島の東洋システム社、代表取締役、水社、日本-ブータン王国議会友好リーグからの当局を含む1090人の日本人から、そして、東京のブータンの名誉総領事のオフィスからトクダさんによって動員されました。それもサクラガオカ小学校から寄付を含みます。そして、それを両陛下は2011年11月に彼らの公式訪問の時に訪問しました。

Dasho Yeshey Dorji, on behalf of the Royal Government of Bhutan expressed deep appreciation to Ms. Tokuda and all the individuals in Japan for their generous donations.

Wangduephodrang Reconstruction Fund: A donation of USD 134,590 from Japan was handed over to the government for the reconstruction of Wangduephodrang dzong yesterday in Thimphu.
Wangduephodrang再建基金：日本からUSD 134,590の寄付は、昨日、ティンプーでWangduephodrangゾングの再建のために、政府に譲り渡されました。

The donation, which equals to about Nu 7.4M, was collected by the honorary consul-general of Bhutan in Tokyo, Japan, Hitomi Tokuda, and remitted to the Wangduephodrang Reconstruction Fund last month.  The honorary consul-general officially handed over the donation yesterday, along with the names and messages of the 1,090 Japanese, who contributed.
寄付（それはNuについてに7.4Mに等しいです）は、日本国東京（ヒトミ・トクダ）のブータンの名誉総領事によって集められて、先月、Wangduephodrang Reconstruction Fundに送られました。1,090人の日本人の名前とメッセージに加えて、名誉総領事は昨日寄付金を公式に手渡しました。そして、その人は貢献しました。

She also met with the foreign secretary to convey the sympathy of the Japanese people for the loss of Wangduephodrang dzong.

The parents-teachers association of Sakuragaoka elementary school in Fukushima prefecture provided USD 1,900 of the total donation.  The costal city of Fukushima prefecture was devastated by a Tsunami in March 2011.  Their Majesties the King and Queen visited the elementary school during a visit to Japan in November last year.
福島県のサクラガオカ小学校の両親先生協会は、完全な寄付のUSD 1,900を提供しました。福島県の肋骨都市は、2011年3月にTsunamiによって荒廃しました。国王と女王が日本への訪問の間、昨年11月に小学校を訪問した両陛下。

Hitomi Tokuda pointed out that, despite the “terrible” and challenging living conditions in the city, the parents, teachers and students of the elementary school decided to contribute to the reconstruction of Wangduephodrang dzong in an effort to reciprocate the good feelings generated by the royal visit.
小学校の両親、先生と学生が互いに行幸によって発生する好意を抱く努力においてWangduephodrangゾングの再建に貢献することに決めると、ヒトミ・トクダは、都市の「ひどくて」挑戦的な生活状況にもかかわらず、指摘しました。

The honorary consul, who visited Sakuragaoka elementary school to thank the contributors, said that the school’s principal had told her that their Majesties had provided much encouragement and inspiration for many of the students, which was visible even today.  Each student also sent a handwritten message to their Majesties.
彼らの陛下が多くの励ましとインスピレーションを学生の多くに提供したと、学校の校長が彼女に話したと、名誉領事（その人は誘因に感謝するためにサクラガオカ小学校を訪問しました）は言いました。そして、それは今日さえ見えました。各々の学生も、彼らの陛下に手書きのメッセージを送りました。

She added that the donation is also a “thank you so much” from the Japanese people for the royal visit to the island state last year, and for His Majesty the King’s “encouragement”, during a speech to the Japanese parliament.

　自動翻訳なので相当おかしな日本語ですが、だいたいの意味は通じますよね(^_^;

　なお、ブータン人の若者が再建を目指して立ち上げたフェイスブックページには、世界中から3万人以上が参加していますが、そこで日本人のKunihiko Morohashiさんが国連友好協会が寄付の受付を始めたことをお知らせしたところ、多くのブータン人から日本へのお礼のメッセージが届いたそうです。

国会議員のウゲン・ウォンディ：「全焼したウォンディ・フォダン（ワンデュ・ポダン）・ゾンの再建のための資金集めを通じてブータン人を支援して下さっている日本の皆様に感謝いたします。このような絆は二国間と人々の関係を大いに強化するでしょう。重ね重ね御礼申し上げます。」

　昨年の東日本大震災の発生から約1週間後、ブータンのワンチュク国王陛下は100万ドル（当時のレートで約8000万円）を日本に寄附してくださいました。

　8000万円というと大した額ではないと思われるかもしれませんが、名目GDP（2010年）は日本が5兆4588億ドル、ブータンは14億6000万ドルです。また、一人当たりのGDP（2010年）は日本が約4万2782ドル、ブータンは約2068ドルです。
　ブータンでは100万ドルがいかに巨額かお分かりいただけるでしょう。
　
　そして11月にはワンチュク国王陛下ご夫妻が来日され、震災に打ちひしがれた日本国民を励ましてくださいました。
